Tarz-ı Kadim Ebruevi Hakkında
I have been honored by success award from the 10th organization of Turkish ministry of cultures decoration competition, after this important date in my career I decided to open an unthought, undefined, extraordinary and never tried marbling house during the history of marbling.
I started to restore a house which is located at the twelve street of küçükayasofya mosque street. Today, I am extremely so glad to see that a special marbling house was opened in 22.05.2000 and dedicated to this unique art after 100 years later. At the beginning, our place is called as violet marbling house during the first years. As I was all time thinking in my thoughts to change the name of the art gallery, also considering the effects of one of my valuable friend’s testament ;name of the place has been changed to Tarz-ı Kadim marbling house at 18.02.2005
Our main objective in Tarz-ı Kadim marbling house is; to present unique Turkish marbling art examples in a classical manner to all of the local and foreign marbling lovers, to organize special marbling courses for those who are interested to discover and learn the inner beauties of this art in a realistic approach. As a result of those continuous tough studies, me and together with my several students we have been acquired by success and decoration awards in 10th,11th, and 12th Turkish national decorative arts competitions several times. Finally, we moved our place to Kasap Osman Street No: 15 in April 2004. As we dreamed for several years, we have the pleasure to share with the lovers of this art that our house is combined with one of our traditional art. We are still continuing to make and present our marbling works in the new address together with my students.
